Sunday Funday!

Oh my gosh, I have so much to share this week!  Remember when I mentioned last week that I found the perfect condo to lease in the perfect location, but didn't want to say more and jinx it?  Well... I got it!  I still can't believe it.  It was one of those things that was just meant to be, I think.  I honestly believe that the condo wasn't taken in a moment's notice, because the owner didn't know how to advertise it correctly.  She literally didn't list it anywhere online.  The only thing she had was a sign outside of the building of her number, with no info about the condo itself.  She was listing it through her realtor, but even after I found the exact address, I couldn't find any pictures of it online.  So her realtor was doing a bad job advertising it too lol.  So, after signing the lease and getting the keys, I took some pictures of the place myself.  There's marble floors!!  Woohoo!  Lol.

So it is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 baths condo, about 1700 sq ft total.  The 2 bedrooms are on the opposite sides of the place which is the perfect layout in my opinion.  Both bedrooms have huge walkin closets (very important!!) and attached bathrooms.  Both rooms are huge!  Well, the entire place is huge.  Except maybe the kitchen is not as big compared to the rest of the place.  I think she could have easily rented it out for about 5000 or 5500 a month.  But I benefitted from her lack of advertising, and will be only paying a little over 4.  It's really a great deal, especially since I'll be splitting it with my boyfriend.  It is more than what I'm paying currently, but I figure since my lifestyle will be so much better, it is totally worth it.

** I edited this post to consolidate the pictures - it was too much!  Haha!

Love the floors, shutters, fireplace, size of rooms, layout, etc.

Not too crazy about the yellow kitchen, including the yellow fridge.  And this built in leopard bench thing.

So, I'll be moving in the next couple weeks!  I still have almost a month on my current place, so I have plenty of time to move slowly.  Oh, and speaking of moving, I'll be consolidating my closet so a lot of items will have to go.  Check out my for sale page and let me know if you are interested in anything!  Otherwise they will probably all be donated or ebay'ed in the next couple weeks.

Today, I did something super fun which was the Malibu Wine Safari tour.  I had no idea this existed before, but it's basically a 2 hour wine tasting tour which includes feeding exotic animals on the way!  How fun!!  I highly recommend it if you live in the LA area or are here to visit and have some time to spare.  It's kind of pricey though, so I recommend finding a groupon or something, which is what I did.

It was such a nice day today, 75 degrees and sunny!  This is what the place looks like - the wine was very good!

And... me sipping on a glass of wine there of course lol:

They let you taste the wine first, before going to the animals.  That's probably smart.  I had a lot of fun with the animals lol.

This yak was so awesome.  He was such a gentle giant:

They have 4 zebras too.  This one was cray cray!  Very aggressive with food lol:

Look at those teeth!!!

There goes the carrot!

Those teeth again... lol!  This picture makes me so happy!

There are other animals too, like llamas, camels, hundreds of horses, miniature horses, water buffalos, and bisons!  At least those are the ones we saw.  Maybe there are more!  I thought I read somewhere that there was a giraffe too, but I didn't see one.

They take you on tour in these open truck things:

The one I ended up on didn't have a fun print though!

It's also quite high and here I am clumsily trying to get up on it... lol!  There are steps on the opposite side, but I was too lazy to walk around!  =P

That was a really neat thing to do!

Ok, I now have tons of outfits to share with you from this week.  I hope this post doesn't exceed my image limit lol.

Monday 2/9 - Rest day

Tuesday 2/10
What I did:  I took a barre class for something different.  These classes always surprise me with how light the weights are and how much it burns.

What I wore:  Lululemon Scoop Me Up tank in caspian blue with Zobha Straight Leg Capri and Nike Free 3.0 in gray/crimson.

Sometimes I like the preppy look of sweater over collared shirt, and I think these 2 work well together:

Wednesday 2/11
What I did:  Strength #1.

What I wore:  Lululemon cool racerback in wee are from space white/barely pink with Lululemon free to be bra in white under.  Lululemon Inspire crop in oil slick lotus camo, and Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 4 shoes in fusion pink/atomic mango.

Thursday 2/12
What I did:  Ran for like 10 minutes, then spin class.

What I wore:  Under Armour Achieve tank in high vis yellow, with VSX Supermodel cami bra in sweetest orange under.  Lululemon Ebb & Flow crop in deep indigo, and Nike Free 3.0s in gray/crimson.

Lululemon Forme Jacket in savasana camo fatigue green as to and from:

I decided to wear red to work, to show my V-Day spirit, 2 days before V-Day lol.  Just kidding, I only wanted to wear my new Ann Taylor Crepe Pencil skirt, since I haven't even worn it yet!  I paired it with the Bella Luxx jacket and Sam Edelman Ella pumps again.

I did paint my nails red and pink in favor of the day of love.  =)

Friday 2/13
What I did:  Strength #2.

What I wore:  I wore red again, but I totally forgot that Valentine's Day was the next day.  I guess that worked out!  Lululemon cool racerback in manifesto embossed, with VSX Angel Bra under.  Splits59 Nova Trailblazer capri in red, and Nike Free 3.0s.

This may be the oldest cool racerback I have:

Lululemon Spirit Pullover as to and from - busting out all the oldies this week!!

I still think the Spirit Pullover has one of the prettiest designs on the back:

So, Friday was the day I signed my lease!  I guess Friday the 13th is not so bad after all!  I wore my Zara Cut Work Knit tee with elbow patches.  Zara Patched Boyfriend jean, and Sam Edelman Anastasia suede sandals in new burgandy.  This type of outfit is SO LA, in my opinion.

Saturday 2/14
What I did:  Strength #3.

What I wore:  Lululemon cool racerback from Seawheeze 2013, in retro stripe multi, with Lorna Jane Quick Step bra under - It's the exact same color as the wish blue in the cool racerback!  Lululemon Lab Perennial Tight, and Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 4 shoes in hyper cobalt/bright mango.

Splits59 Penney LS as to and from:

It was Valentine's Day, and my bf and I didn't have any plans.  We did not want to go out and fight the crowd at fancy restaurants.  So we decided to check out Roy Choi's Chego restaurant in China Town.  Obviously Roy Choi is like the god father of the food truck movement.  I still think his Kogi BBQ truck is the best, bar none.  We had been meaning to go to Chego for some time, but Saturday was our first time.  Omg, it was SO SO SO DELISH!  You guys have to visit if you are in LA.  It's a tiny, hole in the wall kind of place.  The food is cheap and portions are very generous.  They don't even give you real bowls.  No wonder it's so popular!  We got the chubby pork belly and beef T bowls.  Both are amazing.

Afterwards, we walked over to a dessert place and I had a chocolate raspberry gelato!  It was exactly what I wanted, so it turned out to be a great night!

I bought some Premiere colored pencils on amazon so I can start messing around when I'm bored.  I've never drawn with colored pencils before, but as a test drive, I drew my bf a rose for V-day lol.  That's more effort than I've ever put into this day.

Oh yeah, dinner outfit:  C By Bloomingdales cashmere crewneck sweater, with Ann Taylor faux leather mini skirt and Sam Edelman Mallory pumps.

Sunday 2/15 - Rest day from the gym.  I wore my Lorna Jane Heart tank and True Religion Joey jeans to the Safari wine tasting!

And that's my exciting week!  What's even more exciting is that tomorrow is President's Day, so I don't have to go to work!  Woohoo!  I'll be going over to the new place though.  Time to start thinking about the move!  I have so much stuff, so I'm really not looking forward to the actual move itself.  I just can't wait to be over there already!!  Ok, help me out please and see what you can take from my sale page!  =)
