Lululemon Snug Sprinter Jacket Heathered Slate/Dream Rose

Lululemon put the Snug Sprinter jacket on sale the other day, and I couldn't help but to get it!  I actually liked this jacket when I first saw it, but I wasn't going to pay $168 for it especially since I live in a pretty warm climate.  It is now on sale for $99 though, and I pulled the trigger even though I had not tried it on before.

I received it today and I must say, it is a really great jacket!  $99 is definitely not a bad price for it considering what you get.  I had no idea what Polartec Power Stretch fabric was, so I didn't know it was going to be so soft and warm on the inside!  It's a lightweight fleece kind of fabric, and I think I could wear it in LA on colder days and evenings.  It will be great to take on trips to colder places as well.

I got the Heathered Slate/Dream Rose color, in my regular size 4.

So I think this jacket is true to size.  Although if you are very well endowed, you may not be able to zip it up fully.  The stomach area fits loose, while the chest fits a little tighter.  But I think this jacket is very slimming!

The Dream Rose (printed) portion of the jacket is made of Glyde, which is a water resistant fabric.

There is actually a hood hidden inside the collar - I love this feature!  You just unzipped the collar to get it out:

This is what it looks like when the hood is out:

And the back...

I think I actually like it better with the hood out.  Because I'm not a huge fan of the puckered design on the upper back.  When the hood is out, it covers it.

There are also side vents which you can unzip to cool yourself:

Here it is open... there is one on each side:

The pockets are quite large as well, and also can be zipped shut:

Here's what it looks like inside.  Also showing the headphone window.

I love this jacket!  It also looks good half zipped or totally unzipped, which makes it very easy to wear.

If I lived in a colder place, I'd totally buy another 1 or 2 of this jacket!  It also comes in heathered silver spoon/white, and heathered black.

The dream rose color caught my eye the best.  It's a nice print which is not too loud.  I think it is also nice in white or black though.  Black would be a great basic to have.

Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 4 Shoes in Purple Venom!

Ok, I caved and bought another pair of Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 4 shoes!  I got them in laser crimson/anthracite/purple venom, which I had seen back in the day when I bought the fusion pink/atomic mango ones 6 months ago.  I really liked them but didn't want to get 2 pairs so I picked the pink ones.  Ever since then, I had been thinking about the purple ones!  I thought they must be sold out by now, but then I saw that Sports Authority still had them and they were on sale for like $65!  So, I had to get them!  These are my favorite shoes and I wear my other 3 pairs all the time.  So this can't be a bad investment!  Hehe.

The pair I got has 2 pretty distinct looks for each shoe!  One is much lighter looking on the toe area, and the other one is more purple.  I don't mind having such different looks though.  The different color gradient actually makes these shoes very easy to match to different colored tops.

Yay!  Ok now I'm done buying these shoes for a while lol.  I really shouldn't be buying any more sneakers, but these Nikes make it so hard!

Starbucks Alice and Olivia Stace Face Mug!

I'm so excited that I was able to order Starbucks' Alice and Olivia Stace Face mug when it went on sale online!  It sold out within one day, I think.  I thought last year's immensely popular tutu mug designed by Alice and Olivia was very different and fun.  But it didn't really speak to me the same way that this year's does.  This is more my cup of tea, and I am so happy I have this mug that I am afraid to use it!  I also didn't realize it was going to be made with ceramic, which makes it so much nicer but more breakable.  So now there's no way I'm going to use it lol!  I should have bought two!  I even emailed Starbucks asking if they will be selling them in stores at any point, and they gave me some lame unhelpful response - something like they are already sold out in stores.  Hmm... except I'm pretty sure they were never sold in stores here.  They probably just don't want to tell me!

I love that the front of the mug is totally different from the back!  The red bow is removable too.  The mug is so cute!

The only thing I wish it had would be a solid, sturdy case.  The case it comes in is really like a sleeve.  The mug sits inside of a plastic box, inside of the sleeve.

This is what it looks like outside of the box.  It's actually quite heavy!  I would never hand it to a barista to fill my coffee for fear that they'd accidentally drop it.

This is the description on the back of the box:

Now I really think I need the matching shoes and purse!  Lol!

Alice and Olivia really should have coordinated the Starbucks mug release with their Stacey face items lol.  These items came out almost a year ago, and are sold out everywhere!  I have to keep an eye on eBay, I guess.  They are super fun!

Sunday Funday!

Every time there is a 4 day work week, it feels like the longest week ever and this week was no exception!  It was terrible.  Plus, I didn't feel so good because of the impending time of the month thing.  I have no idea why, but some months I feel super bloated the few days before, while other months are fine.  I can never predict how it's going to be either.  Sigh... I often think that if I didn't have to deal with the whole fluctuating hormones thing, I'd make a lot more progress!  At least I didn't feel like eating a bunch of junk food though.  In fact, I only felt like eating healthy food, so...  I must be getting sick lol.

Anyway, this was the last week of my month 3 Get Glutes program.  Tomorrow I get to try out new exercises!  Month 4 workouts definitely look tougher than month 3.  I'm always looking forward to kicking my own ass!

Monday 1/19
What I did:  Strength 1, followed by 30 minutes of interval runs on the treadmill.

What I wore:  Lululemon Water Bound singlet in black, with Lorna Jane Somersault bra in sparkle black under.  The new Lululemon Reflective Inspire crops and Nike Free Bionics.

I guess I was in the ninja mood... a reflective ninja lol.

As to and from, I wore the Alo Yoga Exhale LS top in black:

Tuesday 1/20 - Rest day

Wednesday 1/21
What I did:  Strength workout #2.

Thursday 1/22
What I did:  Conditioning workout, plus 15 minutes on the gauntlet afterwards.

What I wore:  Lorna Jane Arianna tank in jewel with Lululemon Centered Energy bra in flash under.  Lululemon Empower crop in coal/passion, and Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 4 shoes in venom/turbo green.

The new Scotch and Soda Home Alone sweater as to and from - I've been wearing this sweater everyday since I got it!

Friday 1/23 - I was actually quite sore, so I took it off as a rest day.  Too bad, because Fridays are my favorite days at the gym!  (Because it's usually empty)

Saturday 1/24 - Another rest day - got stuff to do!

Sunday 1/25
What I did:  Last strength workout, plus 30 minutes on the gauntlet afterwards.

I've been trying to sell this jacket, but I think I like it again lol - the Lululemon Define Jacket in pow pink as to and from.  I think it's because I was tired of all the pinks Lululemon kept coming out with, but it's been quite a while since they had a hot pink!

And that's my week!  Hope you all had a great weekend!
