Lululemon Free To Be Bra & New Maxi Skirt!

I received my Lululemon Free To Be bra in faded zap.  This is my second Free To Be bra.  I love this bra!  I have it in pow pink.  But I don't wear it much because it freaking bleeds so much!  Every time I finish a workout, if I lay on a white towel while I'm stretching or something, this bra turns the towel pink.  So needless to say, I can only wear it with dark tanks, and that really limits its usefulness!  Anyway, I have a lot of bras so I try not to buy too many more bras of similar colors.   The closest color I have to faded zap is my chirp Flow Y bra.   I find yellowish bras very easy to go with other colors.  And I love bright colored bras.  So faded zap was a no brainer.  Besides, it matches my Splits59 gray Nova tights!

So my regular Lululemon size is 4, but I got a size 6 in this bra, same as my pow pink one.  I can wear a size 4 in this, but I like how the 6 fits.  I feel like this is a low impact bra anyways, so size 4 wouldn't provide much more support than 6 and I might as well be comfortable!  Oh and this bra came with bra pads inside, which hasn't happened in a long time with my online orders.  Very happy about this!  I like to have one set of bra pads with each bra/tank that I own so I don't have to switch out and I can wash them together.

I also picked up a new maxi skirt today from this little store close to my home.  It was only $16 lol.  It's made of super soft and comfy cotton material with ruched waistband.  It's like wearing a yoga pant skirt!  Though it is thin and kind of sheer, so I'll have to wear it as a beach skirt, or wear some kind of slip under.  I actually think it fits pretty well for a cheap little thing, and it goes with more colors than I originally thought!  Like... it goes with my faded zap Flow To Be bra lol:

And it goes with my Express purple tank:

And of course it will go with the neutrals like white, black, gray, etc.  So I'm pretty happy with it!  I don't own many long skirts or dresses, but I do find them pretty convenient for spring weather in SoCal.  Plus I get to wear it with my new comfy Zigi Kickin wedge sneakers since nobody would be able to tell lol.  I love it!

    1. Thanks! Nowadays I start my day with my chia seed supergreens drink that I blogged about in one of the Sunday Funday posts a couple weeks ago. Then I have either some egg muffins (also blogged about it last Sunday) or hardboiled eggs, or an omelet for breakfast. Mid-morning snack is usually my protein muffins or some kind of protein drink, or fruits with peanut butter or something. Lunch I'll have some kind of salad, usually with chicken. I workout after work in the evenings so I try to have most of my carb intake around my workouts. So afternoon snack before I go to the gym, I have a green smoothie that's full of vegetables, fruits and fiber. And after I workout, I have chicken or fish for dinner with lots of vegetables, quinoa, or sweet potatoes. I'm not super hard on myself but whenever I can avoid wheat/gluten, I do. So I'm only occasionally eating sandwiches or pasta nowadays. I also keep my dairy intake low as well, other than my Greek yogurt and some cheese from time to time. But I do have unhealthy food at times too, I think it's all about balance and not being too restrictive with yourself that you will develop major cravings.

  5. Your stomach looks fabulous! I just tried on the free to be bra today and loved it. Thanks for saying the pow pink bleeds - that's the color I wanted. I tried on the dune colored one but thought it was a bit too plain.
