Sunday Funday!

I can't believe it's Sunday again!  Well, it feels short to me since I came home from Vegas late Monday night and didn't write my last Sunday Funday post till Tuesday... well, we are getting back on track now!  I'm actually quite happy that I managed to workout 4 times this week, despite Monday being a thrown away day and all.  And I had 4 very good workout sessions, so I can't complain.

Tuesday 12/4
What I did:  I went to hot yoga and did this pilates/yoga fusion type of class in a very very heated room.  I don't know what the temperature was, but it felt much hotter than usual.  It didn't feel like a very strenuous class at the time, but we did a lot of back bends so I was feeling it a lot the day after.

What I wore:  Lululemon Hot Class tank in senorita pink, with indigo Ebb & Flow crops.  I love Ebb & Flow crops for yoga, especially hot yoga.  It's the best!


Wednesday 12/5
What I did:  Weights - I continued the New Rules of Lifting for abs, week 2 of stage 2, workout A.  It calls for an increase of burpees at the end.  I did 110.  Killer!!  But somehow it felt easier than last week.  Wow.



Thursday 12/6
What I did:  I took another yoga class, which was a lot more hardcore.  Power vinyasa type.  It was a really good class and I got some great stretches in.




As to/from, I threw on my angel blue Define Jacket.  It's pretty similar to aruba, but a bit more blue than green.



Friday 12/7 - Rest day, it was actually my company's Christmas party, so I went to eat up and drink up for free.  =)

Saturday 12/8
What I did:  Weight lifting again, and I did the second workout of stage 2.  It was very tough because I used very heavy weights... maybe not on purpose, since the lighter ones were unavailable.

What I wore:  Lululemon cool racerback in pow pink, with coal Team Spirit crops, and matchy matchy new Brooks shoes which I still have not written about... I suck!  Oh yeah, I also forgot to wear a sports bra so I wore a regular one.  Lol. 



Sunday 12/9 - Rest day.  Ok, I probably could have worked out again today, but I would have done weights and I don't like doing weights two days in a row.  I plan to go tomorrow.  So instead I just became lazy and hung out and did nothing!  Those days are very nice sometimes though!

  1. 110 burpees?! You must be really happy with your fitness gains! I'm at the tail end of stage 3 in NROLFW, and I am really pleased with the strength gains I'm seeing. Though I'm nowhere near you - keep it up!! Also - I love Sunday Funday :-)
