Christian Louboutin Dalida Pump

As shown in the last Sunday Funday post (Friday outfit), I got some new Louboutin shoes!  They are the Dalida 120mm pump with a super unique wavy heel!  So many people have asked me if the heels are supposed to be like that lol.  I had been wanting some solid white patent pumps for a while and these were basically perfect.

I love how the wavy look is carried all throughout the shoe, from the heels to the sides and front too.  Obviously these are not the most comfortable lol, being 120mm and no platform.  But these Foot Petal things actually do help.  At first I thought they were pretty expensive for heel pads, but they are on the thick side and they do help prevent slipping (the material is the type that would soak up any moisture aka sweat):

Also, I had to get these in size 37 but I think size 36.5 would fit better.  But I could not find the white color in that size.  However, with the size 37 and a couple Foot Petal pads, I am good to go so it's not too bad.  So I would say that this style fits true to size, since I usually wear size 36 or 36.5 Louboutin shoes.  I think for higher rise styles with no platform, half a size up is more comfortable so I would have gone with 36.5 in this one if that was available.

Anyways, can't wait to wear these all the time now that summer is here!  I just love a nice clean white pump.

Sunday Funday!

Well... this was not a good workout week for me, since I got sick again and didn't go to the gym at all!  It's so lame.  I was looking forward to starting month 18 workouts too!  I don't know what's going on with me but I've been sick like every other week lately.  It came out of nowhere too and has lasted allllll week!  Maybe it's the weather... all of a sudden we started getting 100 degree days this week when it has been gloomy and cool for months.  I've been learning (the hard way) that I need to just stay away from the gym when I'm sick or else it will only prolong my misery.

Anyway!  So I only have work outfits this week - unfortunately I could not even take a sick day this week since I had deadlines and stuff to do at work.  =(  But I managed to take pictures of my work outfits every single day this week, which I don't normally do.  So changing it up a bit!

Vince Jumpsuit

I ordered a Vince Jumpsuit from Bluefly since it was discounted deeply, to only $114 (retail $395).  This is one of those times I'm not sure if I love it, or if I will wear it, which probably means I should just return it.

So I actually ordered it twice.  First time was a size 2, but it was defective.  One leg was way tighter than the other leg.  Though I found the size 2 a bit tight overall, showing a lot of cleavage in the front.  So I returned it and ordered the size 4 instead.  Well, size 4 is definitely a better size, and this time both legs are about the same width.  However, I'm not sure if the fit does anything for me.  It's not terrible, but it's not flattering either in my opinion.  Also, my bf actually asked me why it's a jumpsuit that's made to look like 2 pieces.... lol... good question.  Kind of does defeat the purpose...

There is a hidden clasp thing on the criss cross front:

There's buttons and a zipper on the front, which is how you get into this thing:

Back waist is elastic:

There's a weird bulge from the side view lol.. it's the pleat/pocket, but looks a bit strange:

The size 4 is actually a lot longer than the size 2 as well.  The size 2 was more like the length of these on the model.  But the size 4 on me is a bit too long.  I tried tucking about an inch in and I think it does look better being more ankle length like this:

But even if I get them altered shorter, I'm still not sure if it's that great of a fit on me.  So I'm really leaning towards returning it.  I'm only hesitant because I went through so much trouble ordering it twice already and I really want it to work!  Hahaha.  But that's not a good enough reason to keep it.  So unfortunately I think it's going back!  Oh well.  More money for other things!

Zobha Double Layer Tank with Braided Trim

I finally received the Zobha Double Layer Tank with Braided Trim which I ordered last week.  It's funny because I tried it on while my bf was home, and he said it was the ugliest thing he'd ever seen... LOL!  In fact, he said he would not be seen in public with me if I wore it.  But truth be told, I kind of like it!  Hahaha!  This doesn't usually happen, as we have similar taste.  I realize the tank is more of a trendy look.  I guess he hates this trend of short and baggy fitting tops lol.  I think I'll keep it though.  I wanted to wear it to the gym this week to give it a try, but amazingly enough, I'm sick again.  Good Lord.  It's like the 4th or 5th time in like 2 months that I've gotten sick with the same symptoms... ridiculous!  I'm super annoyed.

So based on my recent 2 Zobha tanks, I ordered a size M in this tank as well.  This one definitely fits very baggy.  But the length is barely long enough in the front for my comfort level lol.  I don't want to be wearing cropped tops.  So I'm good with this size.  The mesh layer on the back side is really long though, which I didn't realize when I ordered it.  Here it is on me:

One things my bf said he hates the most about this tank is all the different styles combined into it, such as the braided trims, and mesh, and the other white trim with black stitching for the mesh layer.  I do agree that I could live without some of that lol.  But it doesn't bother me nearly as much, obviously!

Here you can see how long it is on the back:

Anyway, I'm gonna keep it!  I ordered it when they had some discount anyway, so it cost like $30 instead of the full price of $48.  I am curious to try it out though!  Only if this stupid cold will go away for good!!

Sunday Funday!

We are having a crazy heat wave right now!  It was pretty gloomy for the past month or so, then all of a sudden it's like 90 degrees this weekend by the beach, which means it's over 100 inland.  I have to go out and run some errands in a bit, and I'm not looking forward to it.  Hahaha.

Well, this week was my "rest" week in between new workouts of Get Glutes.  I will be starting Month 18 workouts next week!  So this week I was taking it easy and actually didn't do anything for the first 3 days lol.  Sometimes you just need that!  But later in the week, I got in a few classes at the gym so I'm happy with it.
