Dresses from Macy's!

I ordered a couple dresses from Macy's last week.  They have some pretty good sales.  I received my package, and I am in love with one and undecided about the other.

First, the one I love is the Guess Sleeveless Scoop Neck Striped Dress in black:




So the fit is rather casual but the color/pattern kind of dresses it up.  Here it is on me:






The dress that I'm unsure about is the Bar III Sleeveless Scoop Neck Striped Cutout A Line Maxi:

 




The length is actually good for me with my 4 inch heels on.  I got this in size small:



Side zipper here, but you really don't need it...




I am just unsure about that side cutout hole.  What do you think?  Too much skin?

    I really like the second one more than the first. The side holes are quite sassy, you will look great if you wore them for the right occasion! Not too much skin and very casual chic!

      Really?? Maybe the Guess dress doesn't translate well on photos lol. I love the fabric up close... I can't really figure out what occasion I'd wear the Bar III dress to... maybe a bit much to wear as a day dress?

    I think its not too much. Just that the colour is too close to your skin. There is no wow factor.

      I actually like the color on the bottom skirt part of the dress. Something about the color of the top is not selling me...

    Love both! I think it's not too much skin and looks great on you. But it won't be good if you won't wear it because you aren't comfortable in it. Can you take it for a brunch spin and see how you feel in it?? Love the blog but like another poster said before if its not too much work let's see a day in the life of your food maybe snacks??
