Lululemon Goal Crusher Tank

I went shopping on Sunday and stopped by Lululemon.  Tried on some stuff and came home with the new Goal Crusher Tank!  The tank comes in black, white and harbor blue.  I actually liked all 3 colors but ended up going with the white one because it's summer.

Of course what attracted me to the tank was the pretty mesh back!  I was actually thinking that since I'm going on vacation in a few weeks, I can wear this tank casually as well.  It would look cute with some shorts.

I wore a bright colored bra so you can see how see-through the back is (it's pretty much sheer):

So I sized up to size 8 in this tank!  I haven't been buying a whole lot from Lululemon lately, but my experience has been that I've had to wear more and more tops/bras in size 6 and 8 nowadays instead of size 4 like I used to.  I did try this tank on in size 6 first.  It was too tight for my liking.  I think size 8 is much better, and it's not even that loose, especially in the chest.

By the way, got the black Tight Stuff Tight, as seen in the above photos!  Funny, I just got the wine berry color a couple weeks ago, and I mentioned that I wanted these in black but they never went on sale and I didn't want to shell out $150 for them.  Well, literally the day after I wrote that, I got a super deal on ebay!  They were like $40 or something buy it now.  So I bought them right away!  And they are like brand new!  So they are the solid black ones with the reflective design on the bottom.  I'm kind of obsessed with this.  These are size 4 as well which is the same size as my other 2 pairs, but for some reason they feel a little bit tighter.

Anyway, I am done collecting these tights!  Pretty happy with all 3 color ways I have now.  But I may think about getting the Goal Crusher tank in black as well.

Lululemon Tight Stuff Tight in Wine Berry / Bon Bon

I love my naval blue Lululemon Tight Stuff Tight and have been meaning to get another pair in a different color for a while.  At first I was thinking black.  But they never went on sale lol.  I refuse to pay the full price for these because $148 is just too much!  Hahaha.  I got my naval blue ones for $148 Canadian (about $125ish USD at the time) when I was in Vancouver and that was the most I wanted to pay.  As much as I love these, I don't know why they should be $50 more than other already expensive tights.  Anyway.  So the wine berry / bon bon color went on sale for $99, which is more in line with their regular non-sale price.

This wine berry color is a nice color!  I think the Lululemon web photos show pretty well how they look in real life.  They are lighter than what you would imagine a "wine" color looks like.  More red than purple.  But pretty subdued.

They are exactly the same design as my naval blue ones, but the stitchings show up a bit better since the color is lighter.  I really like them in this color.  I got them in size 4 as well and they fit exactly the same as my other pair.  They are not nearly as stretchy as other Lululemon tights, so it's a little struggle to put them on.  Once they are on though, they are fabulous.  So I wouldn't size up.

I just really love the whimsical reflective design on the legs!  They look very unique.

The darker lines are actually just a shadow.  I guess my lighting wasn't great when I took these pictures.

The only "bon bon" color visible from the outside is the zipper.  But these are such high rise pants that you will probably never see the zipper unless you wear a crop top or a sports bra only.

I really hope the black ones go on sale!  I've been waiting for that to happen forever and they just never seem to be.  I'm not in a huge hurry since I have so many black tights already.  But one of these days I'll search on ebay or something and hopefully find a pair for a good price!

Another Lululemon All Tied Up Tank Scoop

Since I love the white Lululemon All Tied Up Tank Scoop that I got, I decided to get the Heathered Grey version as well.  It was sold out online already, but I got a brand new one on ebay for the same price as the "we made too much" price.  It's size 10 though lol.  But hey, the white one is size 8 and fits just fine.  I love that you have a lot of control of how the tank will fit you since you tie it yourself.

The size 10 definitely scoops more than the size 8, both in the front and armpit areas.  But once I tie it in the back to a point where it's fitted enough, it looks pretty good I think!

Similar to the white one, the bottom hem of this one is metallic as well.  But it's wider, and much more subtle in this one since it's the same color as the rest of the tank:

Here's a close up of the back and side:

Pretty happy with this one!  It will go with everything too.  I actually found a very similar design from Under Armour that's on sale right now for only $23 now - the Take A Chance Tank:

Pretty cute!  It's pretty much the exact same style as the non-scoop version of the Lulu tank.  I am tempted to get it because this is such a cool style!  I love the open back.  The reviews say to size down though.  So here's more colors and sizes of this tank at Dick's, though not on sale.  And more at Amazon but price and sizes vary.  Anyway, good alternative to try out since Lulu is sold out!

Lululemon Ready & Go Tank & One More Free To Be Wild Bra

I made 2 orders from Lululemon item last week.  The first one was a full priced item which was the Ready & Go Tank in inkwell/blurry belle multi.  I thought it looked pretty cute and the colors are great.  So even though $68 is a lot for a top, I wanted to get it anyways especially since it's been a long while since I've bought a tank/bra combo from Lulu.

I read some of the reviews for this tank saying the bra ran small, and especially after how tight my size 6 Make A Move bra was, I thought I'd be safe and order a size 8.   Turns out, it was the right call!  At least for the bra.  I can't imagine having to wear a size smaller bra.  But the body of the tank is pretty loose, and looks unflattering.  I'm pretty unhappy with the fit, so much so that I walked over to Lululemon (I live like half a block away from the store but always buy online lol) and returned it immediately.  Oh yeah, and it didn't even come with bra cup inserts!  How rude.

I actually like baggy fitting tanks.  But I feel like my other baggy tanks are more flattering than this one.  In addition, the oversized tank look isn't my only issue with it.  The mesh material used in the tank felt pretty stiff to me.  It looks just like the circle mesh used in the older No Limit tank.  But it sure isn't the same.

Anyway, here's the tank up close.  The color combo is nice though.  It's too bad, but it was an easy decision to get my $72 back.

I've been buying regularly from Lululemon since 2009, and I've never bought anything other than size 4 and 6.  All my bottoms are size 4 exclusively.  Most of my tank/bra combos are size 4, tanks without bras are mostly size 4 as well.  But when it's a standalone bra, I normally get size 6.  Maybe it's just a coincidence, but my previous 2 experiences of recent Lululemon items have both shown to be running small.

In my second order, I got another Free To Be Wild bra, in capoeira multi/minty pink/white.  It was on sale for $34, I thought the color combo was super cute!

I got it in size 6.  I have like 5 other Free To Be Wild bras and they are all size 6.  When I took this one out, I thought it looked smaller.  So I laid it on top of another one I had - the cyber stripe/sea mist.  I wasn't crazy!  The new one is a good half an inch smaller laying flat, which means it's about an inch smaller in circumference.  This is what it looks like when the 2 bras are completely lined up on one side.  As you can see on the right side of the picture below, the one on top is much smaller.  It's also shorter overall:

Anyway, luckily this bra is quite stretchy so I can still wear it without feeling uber constricted.  But I really don't appreciate the inconsistent sizing!

Lululemon All Tied Up Tank Scoop & Ivivva Socks Again!

Finally I got something from Lululemon that I really like!  I got the All Tied Up Tank Scoop from we made too much last week.  It was only marked down to $39 from $48.  So, not much of a discount.  But enough for me to get it I guess!  I actually have always liked this tank style, but never tried it on before for some reason.  When I saw it marked down last week in the white color with rose gold foil kind of hem, I thought it was pretty cute!  So I got it, even though they only had size 8 and 10!  I went for the size 8...  I figured this style could fit very loose and still look good.  Also, the fact that you can tie it yourself in the back makes it even more customizable.

To my surprise, the size 8 isn't even all that loose!  The front doesn't scoop down too low either.  It's pretty much perfect.

When it's untied, sure it does look a bit loose from the side.  But the armpit doesn't dip very low:

When I tied it up in the back, it had that perfect loose but still cute fit that I like!

This tank is made of very thin cotton.  So it's not super soft or anything.  But I really like the style, and it would look cute with so many different bras!

The band gives it just enough sparkle so it's not just a boring white top!

I'm so happy to finally have liked something I ordered from Lulu!  It's been too long.

On the other hand, I am always happy with my Ivivva order lol.  I got more Everywhere Sock 3 Pack!  I love these socks so much.  They are all I wear to workout in.  They are seriously the perfect fit, material, and print.  I think I have like 20 pairs so far??  Plus, more I have, less often I have to do laundry.  =P  So now I have 6 more pairs!!

The color combos I got are Tranquil Blue/Iris Flower/Pop Orange:

And Sprinkler/Spry Blue/Bleached Coral (the bleached coral in the below pic looks orange, but in person they look more pink to me):

Cute right??  These socks make me so happy.  I get size X/S (I wear US size 6 shoes) and they fit perfectly.  I highly recommend.  Best 3 pairs of socks you can get for $18!
