Portable Digital Food Scale!!! What A Lifesaver!!!!!

Ok you guys, I know this may sound a little OCD, but I think it's really important to weigh all my food so I know exactly how much I'm eating for each meal.  If I should eat 3 oz of meat for lunch, I want it to be 3 oz.. not 2.9, not 3.1... but 3 exactly lol.  I probably do go a little overboard on this.  But the point is, you can't really just eyeball because it is highly inaccurate.  I have been weighing my food for a long time now, so you'd think that I would be very used to knowing what an oz of meat looks like.  But you just never know!  Sometimes I take what I think is 3 oz of meat for lunch at work (we have a great dining facility), then I weigh it, and it turns out that I took at least 4 oz, if not more!  It's like people... sometimes you think someone weighs a certain amount and then you find out that they either weigh way more or way less.  Knowing exactly how much you are eating may not be as important for someone who is in healthy weight range, but for someone who is trying to lose weight or push their genetic limits, it actually is very important.  Every bite counts!  As they say, 6-packs are made in the kitchen.  You gotta know what you put in there.  My slightly-OCD self gets really really bothered when I am out at restaurants and have to rely on guesstimate.

I have a pretty good food scale at home, but it is a regular sized food scale and it'd be really silly for me to take it with me (but I've done it, don't judge).  So I decided to search for a smaller food scale that I could carry around in my purse, and I came across this American Weight pocket scale on amazon for only $6.81, and free 2-day shipping (at least for amazon prime members which I am)!!  Oh, and it even comes with the 2 AAA batteries that it needs!  I was skeptical at first, because it's just so cheap!  But the 275 almost 5-star reviews made me think that $6 is worth splurging to give it a chance.

Well... free 2 day shipping actually turned out to be free 1-day shipping, and I have been the proud owner of this nifty little thing for a couple weeks now!  In fact, I liked it so much that I bought another one yesterday and received it today!  Now I can leave one at work and leave one in my purse as a permanent fixture.

Look, it comes with a lid!  With instructions on how to use it written on the inside!  How awesome is that!!

The dimensions are 3.9 x 5.8, and 1 inch thick.  It's smaller than a regular sized calculator!  When the lid is closed, you cannot tell what it is at all.  It's very inconspicuous - I do realize that getting caught weighing your food may be a little bit embarrassing.  But it's so small that if you put a small bowl or plate on top it, it would be concealed almost completely.  The buttons don't make noise when you push them, so nobody would know what you are doing if they are not staring at you.

I was very impressed that it has 4 different measurement units.  My much more expensive full sized food scale at home only measures in gram or oz.  But this one does ozt and dwt in addition.  Ok, I have no idea what those are and probably won't ever use them.  But still.  This scale goes in 0.1 gram increments, which is pretty precise and jives well with the OCD part of me.  It can also be calibrated with a weight!  It really comes with a lot for only $6 including shipping.  Much more than I expected.  It also feels heavy and sturdy, not a cheap POS.

So I cannot recommend this thing enough!  I'm actually thinking that maybe I should buy like 10 of them and store them away in case something happens to my 2!  LOL!  I'm scared that they are not making any money on this and will go out of business?!?  I think this is $6 well spent, it's such an eye-opener the first time you use a food scale.  If you do not use a food scale now, I highly recommend that you start.  And if you do, I highly recommend that you get a portable one as well, like this one!  It's almost free lol.  I believe there are times to let yourself go and enjoy food to your heart's content, but if you do that more often than not, you will never achieve your goal (unless you have freakishly good metabolism, which most of us don't).  So it does mean taking a little extra time and effort to ensure you aren't sabotaging yourself unknowingly.  We all know that it is much easier and faster to eat 100 calories than to burn it off at the gym!

Now I gotta start carrying some anti-bacterial wipes in my purse too to keep this thing clean!

Air Filters

My husband and I had been talking about getting an air filter for a while and a couple months ago we finally decided to just do it.  Living in LA, we get really bad air quality.  I think I read somewhere before that LA has the worst air quality in the entire country!  It makes sense, from all the smog out there.  Many times when I think it's kind of cloudy or foggy, it's actually the smog!  It's really quite gross.  So we actually bought 2 air filters, both from Walgreens.  One is the Winix WAC5300 PlasmaWave True HEPA Air Filter.  It's $199, and I believe it's like mid price range as far as air filters go.  I see some for close to $1000!

This thing is actually about 2 feet high and 1 foot wide.  So it's not small.  But it looks pretty slick, you can put it in a corner of the room and it doesn't look too bad.  When I first received it, I was really impressed by how quiet it is.  It's actually got 5 different speeds, from "sleep", to "turbo".  But both the sleep mode and mode 1, which is the one above sleep mode, are so quiet that you can't hear it at all.  It only gets a bit loud if you put it on turbo mode.  It's supposed to work well for rooms up to 350 sq ft.

We put it in the bedroom, and so far I really have noticed a difference (we've been using it for about 2 months).  Everywhere I've lived in LA, basically you must dust every 3 days or so, otherwise you see a layer of dust on top of all the furniture surface.  But with this air filter, I've noticed that we can go for weeks without seeing any dust!  Of course, the furniture closest to the air filter collects the least amount of dust.

It also traps pet hair, now that we have a dog here, I have noticed that there's less dog hair in the bedroom than the other rooms.  The air always feels crisper and cleaner in the bedroom too.  So I believe it does work!  We usually just leave it on speed 1 and let it run 24/7.  It is energy efficient, so we haven't noticed any increase in electric bills.  It also has an air quality indicator so when it indicates "poor", we put it on turbo mode.  It's really quite nice.  The filter needs to be changed from time to time and there is an indicator for that as well.  So far running it 24/7 for 2 months, we haven't had to change the filter yet!

The other air filter we got is a little one, it's a portable Clean AirBall HEPA filter.  This one is only $39, and it's supposed to filter air within about a 45 sq ft room.

It's actually pretty cute looking in person.  It's about the size of a medicine ball.  This one is super easy, you just plug it in and push the "on" button.  There's no other settings.  When it's turned on, it emits this blue light, it looks kind of futuristic.  This one we put in the living room, which is obviously way bigger than the 45 sq ft space.  I think immediately around it, there is slightly less dust.  But otherwise I haven't noticed that big of a difference.  I might bring it to work and put it on my desk or something.  That way I can have better air in my immediate surrounding area by where I sit.

I really want to buy another big air filter for the living room / kitchen area as well, so we can clean up some dog hair and odor from cooking!  Speaking of the dog, he got neutered today and he is now spending the night by his lonesome at the vet.  He will be a sad puppy the next few days!  I miss his cute face.

My New Kindle Touch Cover

I've been really loving my Kindle Touch since I got it for Christmas.  I'm glad I finally converted from real books, because it is much easier to carry a little tablet than a thick book!  And I can carry an entire library with me at all times which is great.  Though it really puts a damper into my studying plans.  For example, when I should be studying, I am reading the latest Sookie Stackhouse book instead and thinking about my vampire crush - the dreamy Viking, Eric Northman.  It's dangerous!!

So I decided to get a cover for my Kindle Touch to protect it from getting scratched up.  I found a bunch on ebay for pretty cheap.  But I ended up getting this set of cover, LED reading light, and screen protector, all for $17 with free shipping!

It arrived like 2 days after I ordered it too.  It's a nice blue color and very soft.  They have lots of other colors too.  I was momentarily tempted by the pink one, but decided to not be so girly.  It's not made of real leather of course, for the price.  But it feels pretty nice and looks good, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do.  My Kindle Touch fits in it nice and tight.  The screen protector was very easy to apply and it works perfectly for the touch screen.  The LED light even comes with a battery.  Lol.  So I think it was a really good deal!  I just can't bring it anywhere with me as long as I'm supposed to be studying!

Samsung 32" LED-LCD HDTV

I finally got myself a TV for the bedroom.  Something about being able to watch TV or a movie in bed, especially on a cold day when you have nothing to do, is just divine.  I actually went to Best Buy for a new dish washer - the water doesn't come into mine for some reason, not sure if it's the pump or the dish washer that's broken.  But I didn't see any dish washers I liked, so I wandered over to the TV section instead and saw the Samsung 32" LED-LCD HDTV on sale for only $350!  There were other LED-LCD TVs that were the same size for lower prices, or bigger size for about the same price.  But I think Samsung makes the best TVs so it's the best bang for the buck.  For my bedroom I think a 32" is the perfect size.

So I've had this TV for a couple weeks now, and it is awesome!  It is sooooo light and thin, like all LED TVs are, I can easily carry it myself.  The picture quality is amazing too.  I have a bigger LCD TV in my living room but I think this one actually has clearer picture.  That's probably the LED difference.  I love that they are more energy efficient too!

I think the sale price for this TV is a really good deal.  Actually when I was at Best Buy deciding between TVs, I saw about 5 different people come by and pick it up.  So I actually ended up getting the last one they had in stock at that location.

So needless to say, I am very happy with this new TV.  It's great to be able to watch all my shows from my bedroom when my fiance wants to watch ESPN in the living room.  We have DirecTV with multiple recorders in different rooms, so we can watch everything we record from any of the rooms - pause on one and continue on another, I love that!  And it gives us room to record 6 different shows per hour vs. the regular 2.

Not that I need more reasons to waste time watching TV, but I have lots of shows that I love!  I recently got into HBO Go, and could not believe how awesome it is!  It has all episodes/seasons of HBO shows and movies that you can watch at any time and it's free as long as you have HBO at home.  It's almost like NetFlix for HBO which you can stream everything right there and then.  I would have signed up for an account sooner, but I thought you could only use it on an iPad for some reason.  But you can actually use it on the iPhone as well as on the computer.  However, when I watch shows on my phone, I can connect to my Apple TV and have the sound come out of the TV, but not the picture.  That is the only lame part.  Why would I want to watch something on my phone but have the sound come out of my TV?  It feels very weird.  The only way to transfer picture onto the TV through HBO Go is by connecting the laptop to the TV and using the TV as a monitor.

Ok that was way too much digression!  Can you tell I'm a nerd?  Hehe.  I love technology!  And back to my original point, if you are in need of a TV, I highly recommend this Samsung!

Mother's Day Kindle

Happy Mother's Day!

I bought my mom a Kindle this year.  I actually kind of want it for myself, but I think I will hold out for an iPad.  The Kindles look pretty cool though - I got the white one with 3G.  There's no monthly fee for the 3G and you can use it anywhere in the world!  That's way cool.  It costs $189, only $50 more than the wifi one.  My mom is technically competent in some aspects - she text messages me all the time.  But she really isn't very good at others.  She can't even figure out how to copy/paste a link.  Lol.  So I don't want her to have to figure out how to connect to her wifi - I don't even think she knows she has wifi at home.  It's probably worth the $50 extra to get 3G for her!

My mom lives in northern California, so I had to ship it to her earlier this week.  Amazon actually had free 2 day shipping which was great.  When she first got it, she texted me "what is it?  a reading device?"

But I think she will love it because she reads a lot!  I actually got the idea to get this for her when I was flying home from Florida, and studying on the flight with my big book.  This old man next to me had his little Kindle that he said contained hundreds of books - it's like carrying a library around!  I got major envy and decided somebody in my family should have it.  So I think that once my dear mother figures out how to use it and download books, she will love it!  The new Kindles are supposed to resemble real books so you can read in the sunlight without screen glare.  I will have to get an update from my mom on what she thinks later.

I am kind of tempted to get one for myself, but I really think an iPad is in my future.  When iPads first came out, I didn't think I needed it, especially since I have a laptop at home and my iPhone.  But I don't think I can resist any longer!  I have been meaning to go to Apple and get a new MacBook (mine is over 3 years old, that's like ancient in computer world!), but if an iPad can do pretty much everything my laptop does, I may just get that instead and keep my laptop for things like Photoshop or whatever.  We'll see!

Anyways, I digress horribly.  I hope all the mothers out there are having a great Mother's Day weekend!  Getting pampered and loved, because you all deserve it!

Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone is having a merry Christmas!  I don't have any plans.  My parents were here yesterday but they left early this morning to go visit a friend in Arizona.  A friend is coming over in a little bit.  So I guess we will just eat and drink and be merry!

My fiance got me a "side gift", which I am loving so much!  This is how I plan to spend my day...

What are these things called?  They are like half socks half slippers.  Footies?  Indoor Uggs?  lol.  They are so cozy and cute, I love them!  He said he saw them at a little gift store and knew I would like them right away.  I'm glad he knows me so well.  Hehe.

One of the presents I got him for Christmas is the Apple TV.

We've been streaming NetFlix movies all day yesterday and today.  It's pretty cool.  It's got wifi, and you can stream YouTube as well as connect your iTunes to it.  And I can even use my iPhone as a remote!  It's so little, you can put it in the palm of your hand.  It's only $99 now, instead of $200 or whatever it was before.  Still have to figure out what else it does.  I love Apple products.

Angry Birds

Ok I'm not a gamer, but this game Angry Birds is totally sweeping the nation!  Or world?

My boyfriend first became addicted to it when he got it for free on his Android.  Once I knew what it was, I started seeing more and more people play it everywhere I go.  It's got a very distinctive sound when you play it, so there's no mistake.  I then found out that a bunch of my coworkers are addicted to the point where they are not even working  or eating lunch anymore.  Then I saw a headline on Bloomberg last week that EA just bought this game for $20 million.  What the...?!?  That's crazy!

So I decided to give it a try myself.

Yeah, like I really need more distractions!

It costs 99 cents on the iphone app store, and they also have a free version to try out before committing that hard earned dollar.

Must say, it's a pretty fun game.  Very addicting indeed!  Last night I felt like I was about to get sick, so I went to "bed" early.  But instead of sleeping, I was playing the game under the covers!  As can be seen from the pic above, it's basically shooting different birds (your weapons) into these piggies to kill them.  Different birds do different things, so you have to learn what to do with the kind you get.  And also you need to know how to aim, and strategize as you move up more levels because different structures will be in your way and you only have so many birds to try to kill all the piggies.  Lol.  I know, very nerdy.  It's more frustrating when you get to certain levels and you just can't seem to get all the piggies!!  So yeah, it hooks you because you just want to beat the levels!  There are tons of levels too.  Pretty fun.  I'm a fan.  It also seems to be a very well built game, the graphics look great, and it's just solid all the way around.  I can totally see EA making it into a Nintendo or Playstation game or something.  I wish I was smart enough to create an awesome iphone app and cash in $20 mill!

Oh yeah, there's also tons of apps in the app store that sell you the strategies to beat each level of Angry Birds.  I guess that alone tells you how much following they have!  So, if you need a cheap and fun way to kill some time, this will keep you entertained for a while!

Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite

When I was traveling last week, I forgot my beloved Philips Sonicare toothbrush at one of the hotels.  It was so devastating for me, as I had been using that toothbrush for almost 5 years (switched heads many times of course).  I had forgotten how to use a regular toothbrush!  And I just don't feel like my teeth are as clean after using the regular toothbrush.

The one I lost was the Elite series, which I'm not sure if they still make.  I liked it a lot, but I guess it was getting old even though it was still in perfect condition.  The only thing I didn't like about it was that the place where the handle and brush head connected had a little "pocket", which over time had this black gunk build up, almost mold like.  Presumably from moisture, and whatever dental bacteria that I don't even want to think about.  So it became an every couple week ritual to take off the brush head and try to get the gunk out of the pocket.  Because of the hard edges in there, some of the black stuff just never came out of the corners.  I've even tried pouring bleach or liquid soap into this pocket and letting it sit all day.  Still the gunk was very persistent and I was never able to get it completely out.  So gross.

So I got the Sonicare HealthyWhite today.  I was so glad to find out that they've taken care of the gunk problem!  Now they've made the handle connector part flat, and the brush head just connects to the handle by a little needle stick thingy.  So there is no place for the gross stuff to reside!  Yay!  Glad to see they've made improvements in the past 5 years.  Hehe.

I got the premium package so I got 2 brush handles, 3 brush heads, a charger with a UV cleaner, a travel charger, and 2 travel cases, all for $170 something!  I think it's a pretty good deal considering the price for one brush and one head with one charger (without UV cleaner or case) is $120.  So I gave the second set to my boyfriend (I'm such a nice girlfriend!).  I also looked at the Sonicare FlexCare and FlexCare+ series, which have pretty good reviews.  But the HealthyWhite premium package was the best deal I could find.  I figure they are probably not all that different anyway.

The HealthyWhite series come with either a 2 mode brush or 3 mode.  I got the 3 mode, and they are regular, sensitive, and whitening.  Good to have options.  On the Philips website, they claim that you will have whiter teeth in 2 weeks.  We shall see about that.  Maybe I'll take a before and after pic.  I could always use whiter teeth!

I'm very happy with this toothbrush so far.  Maybe losing my old one was a blessing in disguise!

New iPod Nano!

I've been so tempted to get the new iPod Nano since I saw the redesign on the product notification emails from Apple.  So yesterday I played with it at the store and pulled the trigger!  The 8g one costs $149 and the 16g costs $179.  So for $30 more, you get twice as much space.  Kind of a no brainer.  It is soooooooo cute!!  And so little!

They've made them touch screen like the iPhone and iPod Touch, with different "apps".  Of course it doesn't have wifi or an app store so you can't go download new apps.  It comes with things like the player, playlist, artists, photos, radio, pod casts, and the fitness program that you can track your time and distance.  Operating it is very similar to my iPhone.  The only thing it took a little getting used to was swiping to the right to go backwards instead of pressing the home button like on my iPhone.  You can also use two fingers to twist and rotate the home screen to whichever direction you want.  Pretty cool stuff!

It comes with a clip on the back which is very useful for clipping to clothes while running or just walking around doing stuff.  It's so lightweight and small, you would never need a clunky arm band to hold it.  It's such an improvement from the prior versions!

The box it comes in is even super cute.  It looks like a jewelry box!  I love how well Apple packages their stuff using minimum space and cords.  You literally take it home and don't need to waste any time setting it up.

Look how small it is!

I liked pretty much all the colors it came in.  But was mainly deciding between blue and pink (I decided that was too girly).  And maybe the red one which I guess a portion of the proceed goes to fighting cancer or something.  It's a bright and very striking red.  But I ended up with blue because it's more neutral, and I always like blue.  Very excited to start using this to go out running vs. taking my big ol' iPhone with me! I just hope I don't lose it!

Samsung WF330ANW Washer & Dryer Set

Finally my washer and dryer were delivered today!  Gosh it's tough to go without doing laundry for 3 weeks.  My boyfriend ran out of clean clothes long ago, but I still have tons of clean underwear and clothes left.  Hmm... maybe it's a sign that I have too much!

Anyway, I've never owned any washer and dryer before because every place I've lived in had them.  So I don't really know anything about which ones are good or bad.  All I know is that all the apartments I lived in before had top loading ones except the last one which came with front loading ones.  And I realized that it makes a huge difference!  So I knew that I definitely needed to get front loaders.

I did some research online before going to the store to see which brands I should be looking at.  Surprisingly Samsung came up as the number one from all the consumer tests and reviews.  I say "surprisingly" because I didn't even know Samsung made home appliances.  I thought they just made TVs and cell phones.  Hehe.  But apparently their washer and dryers are very quiet, use less detergent, and are water and energy efficient.  Also the clothes come out very clean and nice of course.

So I knew to look for Samsung when I went to the store, but also wanted to price compare and see if there were other brands that were cheaper.  Well I guess there are so many different models and their prices differ a lot.  AND, any color other than white cost a lot more!  Even if they are the same exact model.  What the hell?  White wasn't my first choice of color, but I wasn't about to pay $500 more for "ice blue" or some crap.  They are always in the laundry room so who cares?  Still I thought that was pretty lame.

Anyway, after spending like an hour just staring at different washer and dryers at Best Buy as well as Sears, I decided to go for the Samsung WF330ANW washer and matching dryer.  They were among the cheaper front loading machines available, I think mainly because the dryer is not a steam dryer.  But I think these will be plenty fine.  All I ever do is wash stuff in cold water on delicate/hand wash cycle anyway.  So I don't need too many settings.  And I don't even dry a lot of my clothes, sometimes I just air fluff them or use the "rack dry" setting.

They are pretty big too at 4.3 cu. ft. and 27 inches wide each, which is great because I tend to accumulate lots of laundry before actually doing them.  And I can also comfortably fit bedding in them.  The quietness is a big factor for me since I live in a condo, not a house, so the size of the laundry area is limited and is actually a part of the "master suite".  The last thing I need is a loud ass machine that shakes every time I wash my clothes. My boyfriend already did like 3 loads of laundry right after the delivery/installation guys left.  So far so good!  Very quiet and clothes came out looking great.

I'm happy that these are energy efficient to save the Earth and bills in the long run.  But also, the LA Department of Water and Power is giving $300 credit to anyone who buys an energy efficient machine right now.  Plus some other smaller rebates like from the Gas Company and whatnot, which really do add up.  The whole set was about $1600 after taxes and stuff.  With the $300 back, it will be a pretty damn good price.  Hope this check comes soon!

Hmmm I think I just need to get one of those folding board thingies that lays on top of the washer/dryer, then I'm all set!  I think this is the first time that I'm actually excited about doing laundry tomorrow!

iPhone 4 & Mac OS X Snow Leopard

I got my iPhone 4 in the mail today!  A day earlier than the release date in stores!  I'm a big fan of the iPhone, and when I read about the newest version that was leaked a while ago, I was so excited to get it!  June 15th was the first day that you could start reserving it online.  I seriously considered staying up until midnight on the night of the 14th in order to get it.  But I ended up falling asleep early and had to fight with the massive internet traffic on the morning of the 15th trying to get the damn thing.  I tried so many times, on Apple's website as well as AT&T's website, Firefox and Internet Explorer, multiple tabs, over and over again.  I was at work so I had a PC there.  But if I was at home, I would have been on Safari as well.  But I guess since an unprecedented number of people were trying to reserve the phone, all the websites were crashing.  I kept getting error messages.  I think I tried for about an hour then had an all day meeting.  But during one of my breaks, I tried again, and AT&T's site magically allowed me to order it!  I was so surprised because I was reading so much chatter about how impossible it was to get due to technical difficulties.  I think AT&T even had some glitches where you would log into your account and see someone else's info!  So I must have just got in at the exact brief time that the system was running fine, because right after I ordered mine, it completely crashed.  Next thing I heard the phone was sold out, so the next wave of people ordering would not get theirs until July 11th.  Or they could line up at the stores beginning on June 24th.

I was still pretty nervous about it though, since I never got any confirmation email or anything, and never got an estimated delivery date.  Until yesterday, I finally received an email saying that my phone was shipped out!  Yay!!

It looks and feels so different from the older versions.  It definitely feels less like a toy.  I like the more streamlined look.  It looks more chic.  I love the option of having a camera on the front as well as one on the back, with 5 mega pixels and flash!  I probably use my iPhone camera more than anything else, since it's just so damn convenient.  So that is a biggie for me.  Of course there is also the video feature that I probably won't use much but is cool to have.  I'm really excited about the multi-tasking feature, because I like the option of running an app and also checking my email or text messages at the same time.  I also like how the background picture shows up now on the home screen.  The screen is so different looking too, much more refined and sleek.  You can tell that it's very high quality HD.  I really hope that the battery life is significantly improved because I can't even count how many times my older iPhone has died on me before for running apps too long (a couple hours).

Kind of sucks that there is no protective cover for the iPhone 4 on sale yet.  I hope they come out soon (preferrable Incase) because I don't want to scratch my phone since this one's got glass on both front and back.

I did have a hurdle after receiving my new phone today.  I was all excited and ready to connect it to my iTunes and activate it.  But since my MacBook was still running on an old operating system (Tiger), it would not let me connect!  Now, I understand that Tiger is sooo 2007 and most people are probably not using it anymore, but come on, I never upgraded it because the only thing I ever use my computer for is messing around on the internet and uploading pictures.  I just didn't see the necessity of upgrading so I never bothered with it.  Plus I figured I would just get a new lap top some time soon.  But now, I can't even use my new phone unless I upgrade my operating system (or buy a new lap top) first!  That is pretty BS.  Just another way for Apple to make more money!

Well being the sucker that I am, I naturally went to the Apple store this afternoon.  The sales associate there was telling me that since I had Tiger which is "really really old" (paraphrasing him), I had to buy some package that includes upgrade to Leopard (a newER system), and then Snow Leopard (the newEST system).  The whole thing was going to cost me another $200 - same price as my phone!  I had a major freak out moment - to be sucked into buying an expensive upgrade, to just buy a new lap top altogether, or to return my much anticipated new phone???

However, there was another upgrade disc they sold there for upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard for only $29.  The sales guy told me that I wouldn't be able to use it because I didn't have Leopard.  I googled this dilemma, and asked some techie friends, and apparently you CAN use the $29 upgrade to Snow Leopard even if you are still running Tiger or any other Intel based Mac operating system.  Apple just won't tell you that because they want to make more money!  So, I bought the $29 upgrade and it was so simple to install and really worked perfectly!  If I had known that it would only cost me $29, I would have done this a long time ago.  Obviously it is a much better system, and it cleaned up my memory by 14g so my computer is running faster as well.

So now I'm running on Snow Leopard and using my iPhone 4!  Plus my awesome work out and blow out from earlier today, and dinner at my favorite restaurant SugarFish where I received some free food for their 1st anniversary, it was a good day!  I should take days off from work more often!
