Sam Edelman Novato Slingback

I got another pair of Sam Edelman heels!  I swear Sam Edelman makes the most comfortable 5 inch heels you'd ever wear.  I've been super happy with this brand so far.  This time, I got the Novato Slingback in "natural" color from Gilt for only $49!  It's actually cork material, which is a different take on the nude pump.  I really love these!  So I had to share.  Some sizes are still available on Gilt for the same price, as well as 2 other colors.  There are other sizes/colors on amazon too.

So these are the ones I got:

Aren't these fun??  The keyhole detail is different because it makes the shoe a cross between a closed toed and an opened toed pump.  The platform is pretty big, it is 1.5 inches high, which makes the 5 inch heel comparable to 3.5 inch.  It really feels that way.  I wore them twice this week already and they have been super comfy from the get go.

I got them in size 6, which I think is my normal size??  Lol.  I just bought the Coach Nala pumps in size 5.5 so maybe my feet are shrinking more.  But, my other Sam Edelman shoes are all size 6s, and these fit about the same with the exception of the slingback strap which is kind of loose even at the tightest hole.  But not loose enough to really fall off the back of the heel though.

When I googled these, I also noticed that they come in a cork version that is completely cork, including the platform.  I like the gold though!  It adds some sparkle!  These shoes definitely have become one of my favorites already!
