Happy Super Bowl Sunday Funday!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!  I am not really a football fan, and desperately needed to study so I stayed home and studied for like 5 hours while my husband went to a friend's party.  So mine was pretty lame, but I did manage to eat super healthy!  That's my consolation prize.  I decided yesterday that I would stop eating junk completely for a few weeks.  I don't eat a whole lot of junk right now, but I do have a few bites here and there and the effect really adds up!  I was snacking on chocolate covered raisins pretty much every night last week and I felt so bloated by Thursday and Friday!  And just gross.  So, I'm stopping.

Anyway, so I finally moved onto Stage 2 of my New Rules of Lifting workout plan.  I like this stage.  It kicks it up a notch, and I'm excited to be doing it for the next few weeks especially after the awesome results I saw after stage 1.  Here's the 2 workouts I'm supposed to be alternating:




Oh yeah, and I took a couple pictures this week of my work outfits too.  Just throwing it in there to mix things up a little!

Anyway, here are the workouts and the outfits this week:

Tuesday 1/31
What I did:  Workout A.




Wednesday 2/1
What I did:  Workout B

What I wore:  Lululemon Hot Class tank in lagoon, and Astro Wunder Under crop in black slub denim.  NB shoes again.



I also wore the Lululemon Remix hoodie as to/from.  It's from a few years ago, like 2009?  A special edition, with Christmas light looking sweater trims on the hood.



And here's the first work outfit I wore on Wednesday.  It was our business dress but I didn't feel so business-y.  So I wore my Calvin Klein jacket over the Zoa Antigua silk tank top, and Express Editor Wide Waistband pants.  And some black patent leather pumps.



Thursday 2/2:  Rest day

Friday 2/3
What I did:  Workout A again.

What I wore:  Lululemon Push Ur Limit tank in passion, and black groove pants.  With Adidas Adizero Adios 2 shoes.



I wore my Ever hoodie as to/from.  I was holding a peach in my left hand in this picture... haha.



And here's another work outfit photo.  We don't have a more casual dress code on Fridays, but I kind of give one to myself lol.  I wore my Lululemon Cool Racerback in wish blue, with Splendid navy wrap over.  On the bottom I wore my new Express Editor Wide Waistband pants in stone (95% of the time I wear these pants to work), and Ivanka Trump Pinkish pumps.

This is more casual than I usually do on Fridays, but whatevs!



Saturday 2/4
What I did:  Interval training with my husband, I pushed really hard on the treadmill.  He had us do heavy weights too so it was a really hard workout.




Sunday 2/5
What I did:  Went to Bar Method and took a class there.  I bought a Groupon deal, 3 class for 20 bucks.  Pretty sweet.

What I wore:  I bought the Lululemon Cross My Heart tank in silver spoon which I haven't had a chance to write about (I will do it in the next couple days).  But I wore it today, with my Wunder Grooves with matching quilt patches of silver spoon print on the waist.  =)



I wore my Lululemon Flashback Jacket as to/from.  I love this jacket, don't know why I don't wear it more often.



Ok that's all of them!  I'm going to bed now so I can start my week of healthy living and detoxing!  Hehe... goodnight everyone!

    1. Nice!! I bought mine in either Brentwood or Santa Monica. But later on I saw a potion purple one in the Santa Monica store on sale and came so close to buying it too! It was gorgeous.

  2. For the days I can’t go to the gym, I was wondering if the “New rules of lifting for women” book is doable at home or you absolutely have to go to the gym to get it done.

    1. Hmm... if you have some weights at home it would be doable, but you'd have to modify some workouts without the machines.
