Lululemon Yin To You Crop & Cool Racerback in Heathered Aquamarine

I haven't really had a chance to any Lululemon store for a while, so I resorted to shopping online to feed my addiction.  I got the Yin To You crop in fossil.  The texture of the material looks just like my black slub denim astro wunder unders, but light gray.

I think these are really cute!  The fit is pretty snug in the legs though.  Definitely more so than my other Lulu crops (I ordered it in my normal size 4).  I don't know why, maybe I'm just having a fat day.  But they were a little hard to get on.  Although the top waist part seems to be ok but I think I could get away with a size up.  It's long, goes to my ankles, like other Lulu crops - I always need to get them hemmed.  The little overlay skirt thingy is sheer luon, my favorite material.  These are kind of the same style as my Dance Roll Leggings, except the skirt portion covers the entire butt whereas the Dance Roll Leggings only covers about 3/4.  And of course the legs fit much more snug, and is a totally different material!

I really like the Yin To You crop, but I am not 100% sure I want to keep them.  Because I just don't know what I would wear them for.  I know I won't go lift weights in them because I would feel really silly.  And I definitely won't run in them.  I probably wouldn't even do yoga in them since the skirt part might be bothersome.  Probably not pilates either.  Maybe bar method?  But I don't really do that stuff very often.  Hmm... I have a feeling that if I kept them I would only wear them as street wear.  They look cute with boots, I tried that.  But as street wear, I think the color might be too light.  I also don't know what top to wear with them.  That sounds like too many problems to keep huh?  But they are cute!

Anyway, I'll think about it some more.  I also got the Cool Racerback in the new aquamarine color.

Aquamarine looks so pretty online, like a lighter version of angel blue.  I ordered it expecting it to be something similar to the photos, but it looks a lot like aruba to me.  I didn't expect a green undertone.  This cool racerback is heathered, so many that made it look a little different?  I will have to go look at more items in this color, but I looked at it side by side with my aruba cool racerback and the tone is too similar for me to still want it.  So I am definitely returning this one.

I took a picture of the color next to aruba (on right) and angel blue (on top).  It's a pretty color, but I just don't need it.  I think it looks even greener in person than this photo shows.  It looks like aruba's sister.

It's very soft though, since it's heathered.  If you don't have anything similar, you should definitely get one!

By the way, I didn't know Lululemon changed their tag to black.  I have a bag full of the red tags (I keep all my tags for weird ADD reasons), and both of the new items I got this time have these black ones!

  1. That's funny- I don't really know why, but I keep all my Lululemon tags too! I have a massive stack of them. Probably a very terrible idea since it's 'evidence' of the insane amount of stuff I buy from there and would probably get me in trouble with the boy haha Oh well!

    1. Haha! I keep all of mine together inside of a lulu bag too. It is scary to see them altogether! So what I do is I get rid of the ones I don't own anymore or include it with whatever I'm selling. But there's still a big stack left!!

  2. I do not like the Yin To You crop , I think the sport is not very practical and preferred Under wunder crop. I also thought that the color of aquamarine was very different. It's very similar color of aruba. Right now, I only wear the color purple, i don't no why?!
    good WE!

    1. Yeah they definitely aren't practical. I would probably only wear them casually. I love purple! I go through phased like that too where I only wear one color or one style!

    1. Hmm I do try to eat healthy but nothing "special" really. I try to eat lots of lean protein, healthy fat and low GI carbohydrates. And I keep my calories within range. But of course that is all easier said than done! I get tempted by bad foods all the time. =)
