Lululemon Reversible Wunder Under Crop Bruised Berry/Black

I mentioned in the last post that I had ordered the Lululemon Reversible Wunder Under crop in bruised berry/black to compare with the Roll Down Wunder Under crops in bruised berry that I bought in store.  I received my order today and I was actually surprised by the black side!  When I ordered them, I saw the online picture of the black side with bruised berry cuffs, and I just figured they folded it over to show that these crops were reversible.  But lo and behold, it's actually not a fold but a part of the design!  I think that's super cute and makes these a little bit more than just plain old black pants.  I am also very glad that the black side doesn't show colored stitchings like some reversible crops do.  The material feels fine to me, so it's an easy decision to keep them instead of the Roll Downs.

Here's the bruised berry side:

So the bruised berry side looks exactly the same as the Roll Downs if you have a shirt over the waistband anyway (on the right is the picture of me in the Roll Downs I posted earlier this week, color is exactly the same but looks different due to lighting...):

And here's the reverse side:

The logo is on the left leg on this side, bummer:

So I actually think this side is pretty cute, and it really is like getting two pairs of pants for the price of one!  Haha!

  1. Hi! Did you find that either of these pants were sheer? Like, not while standing, but during squats and stuff. Thanks! I love your blog, btw!

  2. I think they are both pretty good. Nothing is ever 100% opaque in my opinion. The reversible ones probably have a bit better coverage since the other side is black.

    1. Thank you! I tried the roll downs in my local store today and they were super sheer :( even pants one size up were sheer. Maybe we got a bad batch. They were out of the reversible ones, but I'll try those!

    2. I tried on the Roll Down BB crops yesterday in my store and it wasn't just a bit sheer, it was full moon sheer in my normal size and a size up. I ended up taking home the WAFS BB Inspires they were totally opaque on me. I teach dance to kids and I refuse to wear pants that don't cover my butt, no kid should ever have to see that in their after school activities!

I love the look of those reversible ones on you, they're cute!

    3. Really? That's interesting... I didn't find mine to be very sheer. I thought they were "normal". But I already returned them so I can't try them out again. I like the reversible ones!

  3. you are right! the bruised berry accent on the black side is so pretty! Yeah, I don't expect my crops to be 100% opaque. Ever since the LLM sheerness debacle, I took out all my crops and tights from other workout labels and tried them on, and seriously, 70% have some degree of sheerness. Definitely a common occurrence.

    1. You're right about there being a degree of sheerness when knit fabric is stretched, but lets face it some are more sheer than others and some are… well, lets just not go there!

    2. Yeah, there is definitely a point where it's not ok anymore! I think all my Lorna Jane tights are actually above 95% opaque. But they make me hot due to thickness. Patterned tights are usually better too since the prints help camouflage what you are wearing underneath. =)

  4. Oh gosh, I better check and make sure my BB roll downs aren't sheer. I fear my return window may have ended... :-/
