Lululemon Push Ur Limits Tank - Wish Blue Multi Poncho Stripe & Haze Coal

I spent like an hour today at Lululemon trying on anything and everything, and was pretty bored with the stuff in the store.  Nothing really new or interesting.  I kept seeing the same things I've already seen, just in newer colors.  And what's up with ruffles on everything??  Not a fan.  I feel like that look is overdone and ages me.  But on the other hand, my fiance said that some of the ruffled pullovers and jackets would be great for his mom though.

The only thing that I thought was kind of cool is a new jacket called Lift Your Spirits jacket.  It's made of brushed power luxtreme, and it's really soft on the inside.  Feels like brushed luon but thinner.  And way stretchy.  I tried on the wish blue color and liked it.  It's a longer jacket and I thought the fit was flattering.  The bottom 1/3 of the jacket is a really wide stretchy panel that starts at right around the waist and ends at below the hips.  The top portion of the back is looser fitting and creates an airy look above the bottom panel.  I don't know if that makes any sense at all, but it makes the side view look really slimming which was the only reason I mildly considered buying it.  I guess I should have taken a picture, but I didn't think of it at the time.  I didn't buy it because the front of the jacket was too loose even in the size 2.  I think this is a size down jacket anyway but I did try on size 4 and it was pretty similar in fit.  My chest did not fill the front out properly in either size.  It made me look like an undeveloped 10 year old.  And also it was $148 so it had to be perfect for me to consider buying. I guess I didn't find it *special* enough for the price tag.

So since I was bored with everything, I decided to just get 2 more Push Ur Limits Tanks.  In wish blue / multi poncho stripe and haze / coal.  So now I have 4 of these tanks.

Wish Blue / Multi Poncho Stripe

Haze / Coal

The Push Ur Limits tank is one of my favorite tanks to work out in.  I love the wide straps and the contrasting colors.  It's such a cute tank with a great fit and support.  Luxtreme is cool and quick drying.  It fits kind of like second skin, so it shows everything.  So I think it's a great way to keep motivated!  I think the multi poncho stripe print on the wish blue one is way fun.  I like to have tanks that are different and eye-catching.  And I love the haze/coal combo for a more muted look.

Ok, hopefully next time I go to Lulu I will see some new and interesting things that I can't live without!  Maybe they will make some new running tights in brushed power luxtreme, and I will be all over that.

  1. I'm loving both of those colors for the Push Ur Limits Tank. I wanted to buy one the other day but I need a size 2 and of course none of the supportive tanks come in a 2! I also wanted to let you know that there are new Lulu running tights made with brushed power luxtreme called Run: Ambition Tights. I haven't seen them in person yet, but pictures look promising.

  2. Oh, thanks for the info about the tights! That sounds nice. I will have to keep an eye out for them.

Is size 4 too big for you? Have you ever tried it on? This tank runs on the tight side...

  3. Maybe I need to give the tank another shot. I tried it on a few months ago, and while the mid-section fit fine, the straps were too long and the band under the bust was not as snug as I would like--both of those factors took away from the support this tank is supposed to have. I'm not freakishly tiny or anything, I just have a short torso and a narrow ribcage. I could probably get away with a Push tank for yoga, but I would really love something that can withstand more high-impact workouts. The Deep V tank is the only size 4 tank I've found that actually fits me right, but I'll try the Push on again and see...thanks for the suggestion!
