Rag & Bone Margot Boot

I was looking for some comfortable low-heeled booties (lol so unlike me) and I got a pair of Rag & Bone Margot Boot in color "Macaroon" for a really great deal!  I got them from Net-a-Porter and they were on sale for $145, down from $495!  But they seem to be sold out now.  Not surprised since they are still selling at full price on Rag & Bone's website.  (By the way, the black fringe zipper version and the gray non-fringe one are on sale now at Nordstrom's anniversary sale early access for $329.)

Basically, I wanted to see what the Rag & Bone bootie buzz is truly all about.  Although I think the style that everyone wants is the Harrow Boot.  They have tons of mostly 5 star reviews at Nordstrom.  But the Margot boots were so much cheaper for the sales price I got!  They kind of have a little cow-girl boot flair.

Well, they arrived like a present!  Hahaha.

I got these in size 6, because it was the only size left.  6 is my normal pump size, but I usually like to size up at least half a size in boots and booties.  So I think these are true to size because the size 6 is on the tighter side.  They don't hurt my toes/heels or anything, but I couldn't wear thick socks with them.  Not that I own thick socks, living in SoCal lol.

I was a little on the fence about them, mainly because of the color/material combo.  It's suede in a light color which means they will be hard to keep clean and maintain.  But the suede feels reeeeally soft and nice, and once I wore them around in the house for a bit, I decided to take them out for a spin.  They are really comfortable!  The heel height is only like 3.5 inches which feels like flats to me lol.

So there are zippers on both sides of the boot:

Here they are on me with jeans:

So I think these are cute little booties that will go with a lot of things.  I see people wearing shorts/skirts with this type of booties too, so I may give that a shot.  But I'm just happy to have some mid-height heels that I can wear to run errands in and be comfy which was my primary reason for getting them.  Although, no way I would pay full price for these.  They'd be like $550 after tax!  No way!  I'll save my money for Loubies... Hahaha!
