Vince Leather Scuba Jacket in Off White & Modern V Pochette in Rhubarb!

I got another Vince Scuba Leather jacket!  I saw the "off white" color on Ruelala a couple weeks ago at a pretty good price (~$350) and decided I couldn't live without it lol.  This exact jacket was still selling for full price of $995 at Saks and Neiman.  Though it seems that in the past couple days, Saks marked it down so it's now $598 and selling out fast!  Neiman Marcus is still selling it for full price, but CUSP by Neiman Marcus is having 35% off right now.  I think the Vince Scuba Leather jacket is such a good investment piece (that's why this is my 4th!) and it's even better if you can get it on sale.  The Ruelala price is one of the lowest I've seen this jacket go for.

I've been thinking about this jacket in a light color ever since I saw it in pale blush (pinkish nude) a while ago.  The off white is very close to it, but it is more of a true nude and does not have any pink in it.  Although all the online photos make it look much whiter than it is in person:

I wore white pants while taking these photos of the jacket so you can see that it's actually not as white as it appears on the above photos.  It's pretty close to the color of my nude pumps (those have pink undertone though).  

It's been so hot that I can't really think about wearing a leather jacket right now.  But a light color is great to have, especially for the colder Spring days.  My other 3 are all in dark colors, so I'm happy to add this one to the collection.  I think I should be good for a long while now lol.  Unless I see the red one on sale then I might not be able to resist!

Vince was having a 5-hour flash sale on their handbags the other day.  I didn't think I was going to get anything but went on there to look anyway.  Then I saw the Modern V Pochette in Rhubarb for only $99 (regular price is $245) and thought.. why not!  Haha.  All the handbag prices were deeply discounted like that, but I really didn't want any other handbags at this point.  The Pochette is actually super cute, and the color is a beautiful red.  It will add a pop of color to any outfit!

I actually really like this style!  It turned out to be larger than I thought it was going to be.  The leather and quality of workmanship are both very nice!  Vince handbags are not priced nearly as high as the high end luxury brands, and based on what I've seen with this one, they are definitely good value!

Not that I expected bad quality from Vince, but I'm kind of surprised at how nice it is!  I'm not sure how often they do this kind of flash sale events, but if you get on their mailing list, you will get email notifications.

At least I don't have to wait for the weather to cool down in order to use the pochette!  So happy.  =)
