Lululemon Fatigue Camo & Cadet Pretty Palm Wunder Under Crops

As you all know, I've been waiting for Lululemon to bring the fatigue camo Mod Moves crop to North America forever!  I finally gave up hope.  But then they came out with the full on luxtreme wunder under crops in this print!  By the way, why are they still available in all sizes?  I thought camo stuff always sell out within a heart beat.  Maybe they made a crap load of them for a change, or people are getting tired of camo!  But, not me!  Lol.

I also bought the Pretty Palm Cadet Greyvy print because I liked the black pretty palm print on the Run A Marathon II crop but had to return them due to the ill fit.  I actually like the cadet version of this print better anyway!

I love how they styled the model here with white top and gray/navy shoes:

I've never tried on luxtreme wunder under crops before.  But I ordered my regular size 4.  I must say that these fit tighter than luon wunder under crops.  It also feels like the rise is lower than luon ones.  If you yank them up too much, it will give you major cameltoe.  I supposed it's because luon is a more forgiving fabric, and stretchier than full-on luxtreme.  They completely pass the bend-over test though!

Here they are on me!  I love both prints and I think they are both keepers!

I think for me, I'd stick with my regular size because I like the compression and I'd be afraid that a size up would slide down during a workout.  If I were between sizes, I'd definitely size up.  I'm curious to try on a size 6 though.  If you have this style, did you find a size up works better?

  1. Did you find they look shiny at all? They don't look like it in your pictures but some of Lulu's online shots look like they have some shine to them?? They both look great on you.

    1. I don't think they are overly shiny. They are luxtreme which obviously has a slight sheen and definitely shinier than luon. But nothing crazy... the thought would not have occurred to me if you didn't mention it.

    2. Your pictures made the crops look matte, not shiny at all. That's why I asked.
I'm not sure why they used luxtreme in the wunder unders? Full on or denim works best. What do I know. I only use wunder unders casually, not to work out in. My waist to hip ratio is enough that I need a drawstring at the waist to run in...everything else falls down and it gets quite annoying.

      Love your blog!

    3. They are not matte like denim luon or anything. They do have some sheen. I just wouldn't have called them "shiny" if that makes sense lol. I don't mind the sheen at all. =)

  2. You didn't think the pretty palm ones felt like plastic? I also ordered them and was surprised at the plasticky feeling of them. I have other luxtreme crops that feel so much silkier and less shiny than these. I'm torn - I love the print but hate them in this fabrication. I wish they were denim or regular luon instead.

    1. By plastic you mean like crunchy? I don't think they are crunchy at all lol. I expected them to feel the way they do because I've felt full on luxtreme before and it just feels kind of yucky and I am not a big fan. I think it's slicker and not as stretchy as regular luxtreme. But I love the prints! You are right though, they would have been better if they were denim or regular luon!

  3. Do you find the 4's that you ordered slide down at all or that you constantly have to pull them up? I bought the original black ones last summer and initially loved them, but now it seems like they are always sliding down. I am hesitant to buy the other prints because of this...

    1. I wore the cadet ones yesterday and they were ok. I probably pulled them up a few times, but once I started sweating, they stayed in place for most of it. I can see how they would slide down if you don't get that sweaty though. It definitely has to do with the lower rise.
